The other morning Chris and I hopped over our morning gym-pass at Golds and went to the Santa Monica Pier instead to shoot pictures. I’ve been wanting to shoot more film lately so I took our F-100 Nikon and a roll of Ilford SFX200 black and white film and shot out the roll. Such an exiting feeling and such a nice result. I processed these at a new lab, The Icon photo lab on Wilshire. They did such a fantastic and professional job with the developing and I will definitely be going back. I scanned the negatives at home on our neg and slide scanner. I love how real black and white film looks. Digital doesn’t come even close.
