I already posted a few of these pictures on Instagram, but here’s the full gallery. Yesterday I marched in the Los Angeles Women’s March with my family, friends and many fellow Angelinos!
We took the expo-line all the way to DTLA and then walked to the Grand Central market where we met up with some friends and a quick coffee before the march started. It was a very beautiful, loud but peaceful march. I think the pictures speak for themselves but the most important thing to me with the march was that there wasn’t a single person there in the estimated 750,000 who believed that we as a people should be divided by race, religion, gender or nationality. I honestly believe every person who marched on Saturday would fight for women’s rights, for women’s rights to their bodies, for human rights, for LGBTQ rights, against bigotry, against ignorance and ultimately against hate. Saturday we saw the power of the SISTERHOOD together with brothers and it was incredible. We were 750,000 strong and it was amazing.
